Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz rotini pasta
  • 12 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 3 tablespoon salted butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4-7 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups half and half
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes drained
  • ¼ cup parmesan shredded

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil. When water boils, add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced sausage. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour and garlic until completely incorporated.
  • Slowly add half and half, whisking as you pour to prevent clumping. Stir in the chicken stock.
  • Season sauce with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  • Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  • Add sausage, pasta, and diced tomatoes to the sauce. Toss to coat everything with the sauce.
  • Top with shredded parmesan cheese.
  • Serve and enjoy!
