Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • baking dish

Ingredients

Bacon and Vegetables

  • 4 strips center-cut bacon
  • 2 cans cut green beans 15-ounce each, drained
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.5-ounce
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ⅓ cups fried onions divided

Instructions

Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a plate with paper towels.
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-low heat until crispy, about 7 to 10 minutes. Transfer bacon to the lined plate to drain.
  • Remove all but 1 tablespoon of the rendered fat from the skillet. Add the green beans and toss until just warm, about 3 minutes.
  • Mix the soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and ⅓ cup fried onions in the bottom of a 1 ½ quart baking dish. Add the green beans and toss to combine. Bake for 20 minutes, then stir.
  • Crumble the bacon and scatter across the top with the remaining fried onions. Bake until the onions are golden-brown and crispy, about 5 minutes.

Notes

Use toasted breadcrumbs in addition to fried onions for an extra-crispy twist. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers and enjoy within 3 days.
