Crust Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg beaten egg for egg wash
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Preparation Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and spinach, cooking until spinach wilts. Remove from heat and stir in feta, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll out puff pastry sheet and spread the spinach-feta mixture evenly over one half. Fold the other half over and press edges to seal.
  • Cut the filled pastry into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
