Ingredients
  

Steak and Salad Ingredients

  • 8 oz Steak, grilled (strip steak)
  • 4 cups Lettuce of choice
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • ½ medium red onion sliced thin
  • cup Gorgonzola or Blue cheese crumbled

Balsamic Dressing Ingredients

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic minced (1 clove)
  • 2 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients for balsamic dressing. Cover and set aside.
  • Put together your salad in a large serving bowl or plate. Add lettuce, top with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced onion.
  • Cook steak on grill to desired doneness. When steak is done, take off grill and let sit on a plate for a few minutes.
  • Place steak on top of lettuce, followed by blue cheese crumbles.
  • Drizzle your balsamic dressing on top, evenly.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Balsamic dressing can be made ahead of time to enhance flavors.
