Ingredients
  

Steak and Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks about 1 inch thick
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  • Take your steaks out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat them dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook the steaks for about 4–5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • Once cooked, cover the steaks with foil and let them rest.
  • In the same pan, lower the heat, add the remaining butter, and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the beef broth, scrape up bits, then stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer until thickened.
  • Place the rested steaks back in the skillet, spoon sauce over them for a minute or two to reheat.
  • Plate the steaks, drizzle with extra sauce, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and enjoy.

Notes

Feel free to double the sauce ingredients if you love a saucy steak. You can also add a splash of cream at the end if you want it even richer.
