Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg at room temperature
  • 1 cup milk 2% or whole milk
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter not chunky

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), or 170°C for a fan oven. Line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine flour with baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk to combine. To the same bowl add an egg, milk, and peanut butter and whisk again until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for approximately 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert on a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

This bread will stay fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. It also freezes well in individual slices or whole loaves.
