Milk and Fruit Base

  • 1 cup coconut milk or almond milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey can use honey if preferred
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt

Chia Seeds

  • ¼ cup chia seeds

Preparation

  • Blend milk, strawberries, banana, sweetener, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Pour mixture into a bowl and stir in chia seeds evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Stir again after chilling and add milk if needed for thinner texture.
  • Serve with fresh fruit or granola on top.

Notes

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving for best texture. Coconut milk creates a thicker texture while almond milk makes it lighter. Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed beforehand.
