Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate melted
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • Add milk, butter, and eggs, then knead into dough.
  • Let dough rise until doubled.
  • Roll out dough and spread chocolate filling.
  • Roll into log and slice lengthwise.
  • Twist and place in pan.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Cool slightly and slice.

Notes

Do not rush the rising process. Use good quality chocolate. Let cool before slicing.
